The most anticipated rematch of the year is fast approaching. Chris Weidman, is set to face Anderson Silva for the second time. But this time around, he’s the one defending the UFC Middleweight Championship belt. Silva vows to reclaim the title from Weidman’s hands. I know many people are very curious about Silva’s fighting approach on their upcoming rematch. He will definitely be more cautious, after learning to respect Weidman’s punching power the hard way. I am pretty sure he’s going to drop the arrogant antics that he has done in their first bout and be more focused in the fight.
The Middleweight Championship bout is set to take place on UFC 168, scheduled on December 28, 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card is packed with exciting and intriguing fights. Co-headlining the event is the Women’s Bantamweight Championship bout and a rematch as well between the champ Ronda Rousey and the challenger, Miesha Tate. Other matches include a heavyweight collision between Josh Barnett and Travis Browne, Jim Miller vs. Fabricio Camoes and a featherweight bout between Dustin Poirier and Diego Brandao.
