Ashton Kutcher is on Twitter’s spotlight because he is currently clashing heads with the Village Voice, a New York City based weekly newspaper. According to Kutcher, Village Voice allegedly supports a “digital brothel”. In connection with this, Kutcher has been asking the advertisers to pull out their ads on the weekly paper. It all started the “Real Men Get Their Facts Straight” cover piece of Village voice went live which criticized Ashton Kutcher‘s campaign, “Real Men Don’t Buy Girls”. Incidentally, Kutcher is getting the upperhand on this battle with the Village Voice because according to reports, American Airlines has stopped its advertisements with the newspaper company. There are rumors that Domino’s will be doing the same soon. On his Twitter account , he has also asked Disney and Columbia University to drop their ads with Village Voice Media.

It would be remembered that Ashton Kutcher became very popular on Twitter for having an overwhelming 7 million followers. Kutcher calls the Village Voice a “digital brothel” on his Twitter account. The issue has gone to the next level as Kutcher Twitts last June 29, “hey @villagevoicehows the lawsuit from the 15 year old victim who alleges you helped enslave them going?”
