Lil Boosie will most likely be spending more time in jail because he is being indicted for trying to smuggle drugs into his prison cell at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola. This is actually his second time to do the crime. Rapper Lil Boosie whose real name is Torrence Hatch was prosecuted by the grand jury from East Baton Parish last July 15, 2011. He was charged with conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution and enticing a felony. Incidentally, Lil Boosie is already in jail for a pending first-degree murder charge. His allegedly trying to bring codeine syrup into his prison cell will definitely put a lot of dirt on his records. If proven guilty, that will mean additional 5 more years for him in prison.
Lil Boosie is a native of Baton Rouge and he is 28 years old only. Together with other convicts Titus Franklin and Arthur Stewart who are both 27 years old, they are all indicted for trying to bring drugs inside the prison. The Louisiana State Penitentiary detectives and the East Baton Rouge Violent Crimes Unit reported the incident. Unfortunately for the three, there was an undercover official who have caught what they were about to do thus they were reported to the authorities.
