The Schilke Trumpet is also called the “Jewel of the Industry”. The very first Schilke trumpet was a masterpiece of Renold O. Schilke, a famous brass instrument designer and was a professional orchestral trumpet player. In 1956 Renold Schilke founded the Schilke Music Products to manufacture brass instruments and mouthpieces. Until now, many professional musicians considered the trumpet and mouthpiece designs of Renold Schilke as the finest and their foremost, if not their only choice. Schilke Music Products only employs 35 competent craftsmen and most of them know how to play the Schilke trumpet. The Schilke designed instruments and mouthpieces are being manufactured in their factory in Melrose Park, Illinois. Each brass instrument is hand made using the same passion for detail that Renold had for his original designs.
If you want to learn how to play the Schilke trumpet, your first option is to have a tutor. However, if you want a more budget-friendly option, you can always take a home study course and be in charge of your own time.
