Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is Selling Like Hotcakes on Fandango

The final chapter of the Harry Potter series is opening in theaters on July 15, 2011 and more than 2,000 tickets had already been sold at the Fandango, one of the leading movie houses in the nation. The ticket buyers come from different parts of the country including Anchorage, Alaska up to Sunrise, Florida. Last December 2010, Fandango made a survey and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is the most awaited movie of 2011. And as of the moment, the final Harry Potter has the fastest selling movie tickets so far. On Wednesday, 71% of Fandango’s ticket sales is for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part 2 and coming in with the second most number of ticket sales is Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

The final Harry Potter film also is better this year compared to the previous Potter film in terms of ticket sales. Today, it even sold twice as many tickets as that of the Harry Potter: Half Blood Prince if you look at the sale cycle of the movie at same point in time.
