Grammy Awards 2011 Nominees

It was during the “Grammy Nominations Concert Live!” presented by CBS last December 1, 2010 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles when the Grammy Awards 2011 nominees were announced. The one-hour special was hosted by LL Cool J while rapper B.o.B, pop star Justin Bieber, singer Bruno Mars, singer/songwriter Katy Perry, and artist Miranda Lambert all gave wonderful performances which made the event a hugr blast. The 53rd Grammy Awards night is happening on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 8 P.M. ET/PT and will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It will be broadcasted live on CBS. There are 109 categories for this year’s Grammy Awards. Topping the list of Grammy Awards 2011 nominees is rapper Eminem who got 10 Grammy nominations that include Love the Way You Lie (featuring Rihanna) for Record of the Year and Song of the Year awards and his album Recovery is nominated for Album of the Year. Next on the list is newcomer Bruno Mars who got 7 nominations while country trio Lady Antebellum, rap icon Jay-Z, and pop superstar Lady Gaga got 6 nominations each. Philip Lawrence, Jeff Beck, John Legend, David Frost, and B.o.B are nominated in 5 categories. Teen idol Justin Bieber is nominated for Best New Artist award together with Mumford & Sons, Drake, Esperanza Spalding, and Florence & The Machine.
