Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 Movie Review

The highpoint of the Harry Potter series is depicted in the Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows – Part 2. It is the climax of all Harry Potter movies. Harry Potter’s prophecy, as well as that of Voldemort’s were fulfilled in this last movie. Each and every destiny was concluded as permeated in its massive and enthralling mesh. The movie is a theater of war marked with all the emotions and memories of those whose death came sooner. As the concluding chapter of the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly hallows Part 2 showed how all seven movies succumbed to death.  Rewards were given where they are due and those who need to pay the price got what they deserve.

The momentum the movie showcased was like no other. If there were some lengthy and intimate pauses, they were justified in the end. Severus Snape even has a touching and very beautiful moment in the film that will surely go down in history. Dumbledore and Harry had their ho-hum parts but nonetheless, the director David Yates made an excellent job overall. Two hours is not enough though because it is quite obvious that the people involved with the movie wanted to fit everything in and make it meaningful. As a whole, the movie was great. There’s no other way you could have it.

J.D. Salinger, Author of Catcher in the Rye, Dead at 91

The Catcher in the Rye was the first book that I have read in my life. I guess it was about three years ago when I enjoyed flipping the pages of the book, eager to find out what’s next in Holden Caulfield’s list of rants. Many are saying Holden Caulfield was a mere reflection of J.D. Salinger. I think for some reasons, Salinger wrote the book and the character in this way for the purpose of unleashing some of his views in life.

One of the most celebrated novelists of all time, J.D. Salinger, has passed away. According to his family, he died of natural causes. Salinger was born and raised in Manhattan, New York. During secondary school, he started making short stories. Early in the 1940’s, Salinger was able to publish several stories. In 1951, Salinger’s most popular novel, the Catcher in the Rye was published. Salinger used his main character, Holden Caulfield, as a symbolism of loss of innocence and and adolescent alienation. Until now, the novel remains controversial and widely read especially in American classrooms. Salinger didn’t want the attention and fame that he has acquired following the release of Catcher in the Rye. He preferred to preserve his privacy. Salinger formed a relationship with 18-year-old Joyce Maynard, who was a writer in Seventeen magazine. Salinger was already 53-years-old that time.

J.D. Salinger, at 91, died at his home in New Hampshire. Many are wondering today if there are still unpublished works of J.D. Salinger hidden in his property with his family. This is yet to be confirmed but if this were true, people will be looking forward to all his works. Perhaps there’s another Catcher in the Rye luriking in the dark, waiting to be published.
