Brian Wilson of the San Francisco Giants heard rumors that the Giants is eyeing the right fielder of New York Mets, Carlos Beltran. Wilson said that he is totally on with the idea. In an interview after the match between the National League and the American League, Wilson said, “He’s a pretty awesome hitter. I have no qualms about it. Come on over. I don’t want to be the guy that’s traded, though. OK? Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen.” The National League won over the American League on Tuesday’s game at the Chase field with a score of 5-1.
When he read the NL lineup on Fox, Wilson said that the Giants could really use a player like Beltran. Beltran on the other hand denied hearing about the buzz. He said, “I didn’t see that. I didn’t hear that, either.” “I mean, I know there have been a lot of rumors – different cities. They always say I might end up in this city, in that city. But right now I’m part of the New York Mets, and we’re playing good baseball.”
When asked where he will be in the next couple of months, Beltran said he hoped to be in New York. For the meantime, he continues to play good baseball, focused on winning every single ballgame.
