The 2011 Major League Baseball All-Star Game took place in Chase Field, Phoenix, Arizona last Tuesday, July 12th. The Chase Field is the home field of the Arizona Diamondbacks of the National League. The 2011 Major League Baseball All-Star Game showcased a game between the American League and the National League.

The game ended with a final score of 5-1 in favor of the National League. The National League has already won their second straight All-Star game.

The starting pitchers were Jared Weaver from the American League and Roy Halladay from the National League. Two home runs were scored during the game. One was from Adrian Gonzalez of the American League and the other was from Prince Fielder of the National League. Apparently, Fielder was declared as the MVP of the 2011 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

The 2011 Major League Baseball All-Star Game broke the record of the most number of players in the rosters for an All-Star Game by having 84 players all in all, beating the former record of 82 All-Star players last 2010 All-Star Game.
